Does TavernQuill require an internet connection?
No. TavernQuill is a browser-native local application. Once loaded, it runs entirely on your machine. We do not upload your character data, sprites, or lorebooks to any server.
Is the SillyTavern V3 specification fully supported?
Yes. We support the complete V3 JSON schema, including depth prompts, talkativeness settings, and enhanced metadata fields required for modern LLM roleplay.
How does TavernQuill handle my privacy?
TavernQuill is privacy-first by design. All PNG metadata extraction and embedding happens locally via the browser's Canvas and FileReader APIs. No data ever leaves your device.
